ASBMR-BHOF Home Office Legislative Visits

ASBMR and the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) are partnering to advocate for increased funding for the NIH and other federal agencies. It is critical for Members of Congress to hear regularly from their constituents on the importance of funding for biomedical research, and the real-life benefits to their districts. 
 
ASBMR and BHOF will facilitate legislative visits to Members of Congress in their home (in-state) offices throughout May. U.S.-based volunteers are needed. Meetings will be scheduled based on your and the legislative staff’s availability.
